How did you come about joining FFA? Tell us your "story" - why FFA?
I first learned about FFA through my sister, who then shared her experiences with me. After hearing all that she had done in FFA, and how much fun she had I then decided to join. I chose to join FFA originally to follow in my sisters footsteps, but now being in the organization for so long I have realized that it has taught me a lot of skills, such as something as simple of how to start a conversation with some you may not know.
What FFA activities have you participated in (LDE's, CDE's, Community Service, animal projects, previous offices, camps, etc)?
FFA has been a big part of my life for the past 9 years. I have competed in many CDE and LDE events such as Dairy Cattle Judging and Livestock Judging. As well as, the LDE events I have competed in, such as Chapter Conducting, Creed Speaking, and Radio Broadcast. I have also participated in many of the chapters community service opportunities, such as our “Adopt-a-Highway” service opportunity and out “Lunches of Love” service opportunity.
What is your favorite FFA memory?
My favorite FFA memory has to be the 2022 Fort Bend County Fair where, where I won over all Reserve Grande Champion Steer and Grand Champion British Steer at the steer show. As well as, winning Grand Champion Senior Lamb Showman at the lamb show, that same year.
What other things are you interested in?(sports, clubs, civic, church, etc...)
At the moment the only thing that I am really involved in is FFA.
What are your future plans?
I plan to attend Sam Houston State to complete my Pre-Law. I am still on a search for a law school, but I plan to major in Business Law. To later on become a Merges and Acquisitions Attorney.
